My name is Mirelli Shimizu
My perspective is born from the meeting of many worlds. I never learned to think in isolated parts.
From an early age, I was driven by the need to understand the whole, to perceive the invisible relationships between systems, people, and stories. In the corporate world, this translated into a solid career in the tax and financial field, where I became a reference because I did not operate within closed niches. I moved across different technical areas, people management, leadership, and strategy. I needed to sustain being technical and managerial, even when those boxes were clearly defined. Perhaps because of an old, almost archetypal wound, the sense of not being enough for a world that rewards categories, titles, and clear boundaries. Or because I could feel the complexity of a system and needed to understand it in a more profound way.
But this way of seeing the world did not begin there.
I am Brazilian, born and raised in São Paulo, with Japanese heritage. My life has unfolded as a mosaic of cultures. I have lived in Hong Kong and the United States and today I call Italy home, where I share my life with my Dutch husband and our Brazilian cat (^^).
Being in between worlds brought the sensitivity and a sense of not fully fitting walking side by side within me. I am a highly sensitive, empathetic, and intuitive person, and it is from this intertwined experience that I recognize the emotional universe of those who feel everything intensely and seek a deeper meaning in their own lives.
Each move taught me something about belonging, identity, and listening.
Over time, it became clear that the same listening I once directed toward organizational systems needed to turn toward the human being. Toward the body. Toward emotions. Toward what cannot be resolved by logic alone, but asks for presence.
My entry into integrative practices and holistic therapies began as a necessity for self-care, a way to understand myself in the world, and transformed into a vocation. Yoga, Reiki, High Vibrational Mandalas, and other energetic and somatic approaches revealed themselves as different languages of the same living intelligence.
More than accumulating techniques, my interest has always been in understanding how they dialogue with one another, where they meet, where they complement each other, and how they can be applied with ethics, discernment, and sensitivity.
I am a translator between worlds, articulating the technical and the sensitive, the rational and the intuitive, listening to complex human systems without fragmenting the human being.
Today, I work as a holistic therapist. My work is for those who seek depth, coherence, and agency. For those who feel they do not need ready-made answers, but a safe space to listen to themselves and align with their own truth.
